Santa Claus’ Helpers Visited San Pedro

Santa Claus’ helpers from Lomita visited San Pedro, Wilmington and Torrance with hundreds of gifts for unhoused people currently residing in shelters located in San Pedro, Wilmington and Torrance. Lomita businessman Gary Paulson organized this event for the second year in a row. Paulson would like to thank the many sponsors from Lomita, Harbor City and Torrance for making this happen. Paulson would also like to thank his helpers James McDonald, Bill Upoff and daughter’s Victoria Tedder and Denise Paulson, who helped distribute 100 sleeping bags, 80 Polar Extreme Insulated gloves, 100 pairs of socks and 50 personal care bags for women, which were donated by the Redondo Union High School Cheer Squad. A big thank you goes out to the Torrance Big 5 Sporting Goods store for supplying the sleeping bags, gloves, and beanies at a discounted price. In addition, the Lomita Big Lots donated boxes of food which were delivered.
