Long Beach Welcomes Visitors Back Aboard the RMS Queen Mary with a Series of Into 2023
LONG BEACH — The City of Long Beach has announced it officially welcomed back visitors for limited tours onboard the RMS Queen Mary, in December for the first time since March 2020. Tours completely filled up within hours and the city is welcoming more people as the ship opens up more elements in early 2023.

Port Extends Accord with LBCC
LONG BEACH — The Port of Long Beach has extended its contract with Long Beach City College to provide training for careers in the goods movement industry through the Maritime Center of Excellence. Jointly established by the port and LBCC, MCE offers short-term training for entry- and mid-level careers in global logistics and supply chain management. The contract has been extended through June 2023 to allow LBCC to offer the remaining courses and activities outlined in the original agreement that were delayed by the COVID-19 pandemic.
