LASD is Asking for the Public’s Help Locating At-Risk Missing Person, Marry Woe Lomita
Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department Missing Persons Unit investigators on Oct 29 asked for the public’s help locating at-risk missing person, Marry Woe. She is a 74-year-old Chinese female who was last seen at 2:30 p.m., Oct. 28 on the 25400 block of Pennsylvania Avenue, in the city of Lomita.
Missing person, Marry Woe, is 5’02” tall, 180 lbs with black hair, brown eyes, and she wears glasses. She was last seen wearing a gray shirt, beige cardigan, black tights and gray shoes.
Mary Woe is diagnosed with Dementia, and her family is concerned for her well-being.

LASD Homicide Bureau Responded to a Death Investigation, Torrance
Sheriff’s Homicide investigators are continuing their investigation into the circumstances surrounding the death of a male Hispanic adult who was about 80-years-old. On Oct. 27 at about 4:40 a.m., deputies from Carson Sheriff’s Station responded to an “Assault with a Deadly Weapon Just Occurred” call on the 1000 block of West 227th Street, in Torrance.
When Carson deputies arrived on scene, they discovered the victim unresponsive inside the residence. Los Angeles County Fire Department personnel also responded and pronounced the victim dead at the scene. The victim’s grandson, a male Hispanic in his 30’s, was detained at the scene as a person of interest.
Homicide investigators responded to the scene and assumed control of the investigation. The investigation is on-going and there is no additional information available at this time.
