LOS ANGELES — Following her Year in Review Address this morning, Mayor Karen Bass engaged Angelenos by hosting a telephone town hall to discuss work done over the past year to make Los Angeles stronger, healthier, happier and safer for all. The mayor also provided an update regarding her work to bring unhoused Angelenos inside, make our city safer, support businesses and create a greener Los Angeles. Mayor Bass was joined on the telephone town hall by her chief housing and homelessness officer as well as her deputy mayors overseeing the mayor’s offices of public safety, community safety, business and economic development, energy and sustainability, infrastructure, communications and community engagement.
Mayor Bass Dec. 8 concluded her tour by welcoming President Joe Biden and First Lady Jill Biden to Los Angeles. She crisscrossed the city highlighting work to confront the homelessness crisis, make Los Angeles safer, support businesses, build a greener L.A., and improve city services.
