Become a docent. The Rancho Dominguez Adobe Museum is offering two sessions: one on the weekday evenings and one on Saturday mornings. Each session has four classes to attend:
Saturday Sessions: 2/8, 2/22, 3/15, 3/29 and all classes are 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.
Evening Sessions: 2/13, 2/26, 3/12, 3/26 and all classes are 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.
Docent training are open to ages 14 and older.
Docent training sessions an also be scheduled by appointment. Part of the training sessions involves meeting with other docents at an outing for all docents.
Docents are volunteer tour guides, trained to further the public’s understanding of the cultural and historical significance of the Dominguez family and the rich history of California with a focus on Southern California.
