A Tragic Accident at the Port of LA Has Left One Person Dead

Around 10:40 am the Los Angeles Fire Department was dispatched to Berth 270 in the Port of LA for a reported technical rescue for a person trapped.

When firefighters arrived at the location near Terminal Way and Barracuda Street they found one person trapped under a forklift. Paramedics were brought in and determined the person to be deceased.
