Mr. Boudreaux brings a vast and diverse experience within the public sector. Before Carson, he worked for the Orange County employees association as a labor representative. He has also worked for the Orange County Fire Authority where he helped develop the professional standards unit with chief officers.
Supporting employees in various capacities is not new to Boudreaux. His career includes serving as an administrative manager for the County of Orange, president of the Orange County Human Resources Consortium and working for Koff & Associates. While at Koff & Associates, he managed full-cycle recruitments for California public sector agencies, including cities, counties, and special districts in addition to the City of Anaheim.
Boudreaux attended the University of California, Los Angeles where he earned a B.A. in Political Science with a concentration in American Politics. He also earned his Master’s in Public Administration from Chapman University (Brandman) and a Master’s Certificate in Human Resources with an emphasis on Labor Relations from Cornell University.
City manager David Roberts said, “Mr. Boudreaux comes with comprehensive experience working for the city, county and private sector. Combined with his extensive negotiation skills, we are pleased to have him join the City of Carson team. His professional personable acumen will serve the employees of Carson well.”
