Supervisor Holly J. Mitchell and LA County Library Director Skye Patrick welcome the community to a special event celebrating the multimillion-dollar renovation of Carson Library. Join Dec. 21 for a ribbon cutting ceremony, followed by an afternoon filled with fun activities and resources for the whole family, including: Outdoor ceremony, ribbon cutting, and Library opening; La Brea Tar Pits Mobile Museum; Resources from LA County Partners, including Laptop Giveaway for those who qualify; 360 Photobooth and Bubbleologist; Found Object Juggling Show with Michael Rayner
Limited free parking is available in the Library parking lot. Additional parking is available along Carson Street and Carson Park. Please note the Library will open at 1 p.m. that day.
