Registration Now Open for the 9th Annual Women’s Health Conference and Business Expo

The City of Carson, in collaboration with The Carson Citizens Cultural Arts Foundation, CSUDH, and The Dymally Institute, invites the community to the 9th Annual Women’s Health Conference and Business Expo. Registration is now open.

The event is on Oct. 20, 2023 at the Carson Event Center. Regular ticket prices are $65 per person between Oct. 1 to 13. Attendees are encouraged to wear any shade of pink to show support for women’s health.

Your ticket price includes a light breakfast, opening session and panel discussion, two interactive workshops, lunch, entertainment, swag bag and access to vendor village. Workshop topics include: From Surviving to Thriving: Navigating Mental Health and Cultivating Resilience, Sleep and Sleep Disorders: Lessons from the Sleep Docs, Don’t Lose Your Mind: Brain Health and Stroke Prevention, Breast and Other Cancers: Early Diagnoses and Disparities, The Enemy of Diabetes: A Plant-Based Revenge, Women & Sexual Health: Menopause/Post Menopause, Glowing Skin: Master Class and Medicare 101: Things You Should Know About Medicare.

The Women’s Health Conference and Business Expo has become a flagship event in the City of Carson fostering education, empowerment and community engagement. This year’s conference promises to be even more transformative and enriching, with a diverse array of workshops, panel discussions, and activities geared towards enhancing women’s holistic well-being.

Exciting Addition – Young Women’s Health Conference (Ages 18-30):

This year introduces a new addition to the event, the Young Women’s Health Conference, specially curated for individuals aged 18-30. Early registrants will even have the opportunity to attend for free.

Regular ticket prices are $25 per person for registrants between October 1-13. Free transportation will be provided from CalState Dominguez Hills to the Carson Event Center.

Both conferences run simultaneously. Registration is open by calling, or online using ActiveNet, available on the City of Carson website below, or in-person at the Carson Event Center during regular business hours.
