Month-Long Campaign for Breast Cancer Awareness Culminates with a Women’s Health Conference & Business Expo

The City of Carson and the Carson Citizens Cultural Arts Foundation will be presenting the 8th Annual “It’s All About Me” women’s health conference and business expo themed, “Raising the Bar on Healthy Choices” as part of the month-long National Breast Cancer Awareness campaign to educate the community not just about breast cancer awareness but women’s overall health.

The conference and expo will happen Oct. 21. Cost of admission includes light breakfast, panel discussion, workshops and lunch. 

National Breast Cancer Awareness Month, celebrated during the month of October, is a time to increase awareness and to raise funds for research into breast cancer’s cause, prevention, diagnosis, treatment and cure. The campaign also offers resources, information and support for those affected by breast cancer, recognizes their family and friends who provide love and support and also acknowledges the innovative, lifesaving work of doctors, researchers and other medical professionals.
