PVPLC Holds Community Mural Painting at White Point Nature Preserve

Pictured (L to R) Conservancy Conservation director Cris Sarabia, artist Tracy Negrete, Coastal San Pedro Neighborhood Council president Doug Epperhart, Port of LA harbor commissioner Lee Williams, District 15 councilmember Tim McOsker, executive director Adrienne Mohan and Conservancy volunteer coordinator Susannah Miles.

 

The Palos Verdes Peninsula Land Conservancy and volunteers came together Aug. 6 to paint a mural created by public artist Tracy Negrete. The mural depicts beautiful local plants and animals including the California gnatcatcher, El Segundo blue butterfly and California golden poppy.

The container was donated by Matson Shipping to store tools for habitat restoration.
