The City is Hiring

As one of the largest employers in California, the City of Los Angeles offers a vast array of career opportunities. Coming out of the pandemic, the city has many job openings. Vacancies in city departments means service delays for residents. Chair of the council committee on personnel and hiring, councilmember Tim McOsker, aims to fill those positions.

On June 29 a range of City Departments will participate in a career fair in Watts. Residents throughout the One-Five are encouraged to attend. With available jobs in the Public Works Department to the Department of Transportation, Recreation and Parks, and others – build your career with the City of Los Angeles. Resumes are encouraged but not required at this event.

Helpful workshops will be offered throughout the day.
