Registration Opens Monday for Port’s 2023 PHOTOProgram

Once again Port of Long Beach will partner with the Arts Council for Long Beach for the 2023 Port of Long Beach PHOTOProgram, a free three-part photography learning experience for photographers of all skill levels.

The program consists of a welcome orientation with an introduction into camera basics facilitated by port photographers, followed by a sunrise shoot aboard a cruise through the port. The program culminates with a gallery reception and exhibition in conjunction with Long Beach Arts Month in October, an annual celebration of local arts and culture.

Due to exceptionally high demand, participants will be selected through a lottery system and priority will be given to first-time participants. Entry into the lottery to participate in the free program is open now to Friday, June 30, from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. at polb.com/photoprogram.

A digital SLR camera is mandatory to participate and participants must be available to attend the orientation and tour. You must be 18 or older to participate.
