Call for articulations to eARThLB for presentation during soundpedro2023 On-site at Angels Gate Cultural Center, June 3, 2023. The deadline is April 15.
Eligibility is open to anyone who lives, works, studies in, or has visited Long Beach, CA (in-person or digitally).
Submit any of the following: Digital image (at least 1920 pixels at widest point, preferably horizontal)
Video (up to 1 minute)
Sound recording (up to 1 minute)
Text (Prose, poetry, etc. up to 200 words) written or spoken
This is a call for artwork that can be transported (delivered) digitally, to be curated into a portmanteau (curated mash-up) video. Calling for work that addresses, describes, converses with, interrogates, celebrates, howls, laughs, screams at, symbolizes or represents Long Beach land-sea-air-scape and anything in it.
*east village caravanserai curates chamber theater and other performances in small, accessible community spaces in the East Village/Downtown Long Beach area. The organization brings together performing artists and audiences through shows that are socio-politically relevant to Long Beach’s communities.
