The Golden Shore – California’s Love Affair with the Sea
Cabrillo Marine Aquarium invites you to meet David Helvarg, author and executive director of the Blue Frontier, at the Discovery Lecture Series, from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Feb. 6. In recounting his discoveries researching The Golden Shore, his critically acclaimed book on how California is defined by the Pacific, Helvarg will share the amazing history, culture and changing nature of the California coast and ocean.
