Photographer Celebrates Lizard King’s 70th

Long Beach counter-culture photographer Jim Coke will be hosting an exhibition on Jim Morrison and The Doors, from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Nov. 7, at Fingerprints Music in Long Beach.

The exhibition will feature Coke’s photographs from July 15, 1967 prior to The Doors release of “Light My Fire.” Other artists performing will include poet Michael C. Ford, and local bands Slushbox, Natural Hi-Fi and Move.
