Celebration Bash for Vets in November

San Pedro–
Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa representative, Ricardo Hong, announced at the last Central Neighborhood Council meeting, July 10, the mayor’s office will be hosting a big party in honor of war veterans complete with live entertainment in front of the USS Iowa, on November 10 or 12.

November 11 couldn’t be booked because a cruise ship will making a port of call that day.  Hong said the Villaraigosa administration is aiming to book big names for  the event, and is working out the details, so that it’s free for participants.
