In the 2022 Student Art Competition, the San Pedro Art Association or SPAA chose 216 pieces of student artwork, pre-kindergarten to high school. Award winning artwork was professionally framed and displayed at Crafted. All accepted artwork was displayed on line and some were exhibited unframed at Crafted. Each student was awarded a 150 piece art set, an award ribbon and student membership with SPAA through high school. SPAA also gave out more than $1300 in cash prizes.
Find below rules and forms for the “2023 SPAA Harbor Wide All-Grades Student Art Competition” for distribution to the students and teachers plus an additional letter of instruction for teachers, principals and staff. SPAA has also included a contact request form.
To print the information, click the link to open the file. You may also download. Remember, this competition is free for the kids.
More importantly, SPAA needs to assure it can contact the students and their parents. Each year a small percentage of students have not filled out the entry forms completely. The common missing information is usually contact phone numbers and emails for the student and the parent. Being that this show is virtual again, it is imperative that we receive this vital information when accepting the artwork from your students.
