Public Health Issues Warning About Cabrillo Beach

LOS ANGELES — The Los Angeles County Department of Public Health issued a warning on Dec. 8 cautioning entering the water of inner Cabrillo Beach in San Pedro, among other beaches in the county. The reason for this is that bacterial levels exceeded health standards when last tested.

The other beaches the department warned about are listed below:

• Zuma Creek at Zuma Beach

• Santa Monica Pier in Santa Monica

• Pico-Kenter Storm Drain at Santa Monica Beach

• Herondo Street Storm Drain at Hermosa Beach • Hermosa Beach Pier in Hermosa Beach

• Redondo Beach Pier in Redondo Beach

• Redondo Beach at Sapphire Street

• Abalone Cove in Rancho Palos Verdes

• Mother’s Beach in Marina Del Rey
