The Long Beach Police Department is asking for the public’s help with information to help identify the persons responsible for a shooting that took place May 1, 2012, near 57th Street and Chestnut Avenue, which injured a male adult.
When officers arrived at the shooting location, they discovered a man had been struck in the back by gunfire. The victim was taken to a local hospital in stable condition. The victim and two other individuals were in a vehicle and were being followed prior to the shooting by the suspects who were riding in a black sedan.
