LGB2NETWORK C.A.R.E. for Cocktails
Join the LGB2NETWORK, from 6 to 8 p.m. Aug. 18, for their monthly mixer at L’Opera Ristorante in Long Beach.
The group will turn its focus to the fight against HIV/AIDS and ongoing treatment and education about the disease. The group will raise funds for the Comprehensive AIDS Research and Education Program at St. Mary’s Hospital in Long Beach. Attendees will receive one cocktail and hors d’oevres with a suggested donation of $20. The restaurant will donate a portion of its proceeds to the C.A.R.E. Program.

King Salmon Band
King Salmon will play a fun mixture of rock tunes that you'll recognize, want to sing along with, and dance to, at 7:30 p.m. Aug. 20, at the Soroptimist House terrace in Cal State Long Beach.
The musicianship and experience of the band members allows them to cover a wide range of artists, tunes, and styles. King Salmon regularly performs at southern California concerts, events, festivals, and clubs. Cost is $30.
