L.A. Council OKs $2,500 Gaffey Relinquishment Transfer
LOS ANGELES – The Los Angeles City Council voted 11-0, Councilmen Richard Alarcon, Paul Koertz, Bill Rosenthal and Greig Smith absent, to amend a prior council action of May 27 regarding the relinquishment of Gaffey Street in San Pedro.
The vote, subject to mayoral approval, facilitates the transfer of $2,500 from the Relinquishment of Gaffey Street account to the street services fund for construction materials to make fence improvements on Gaffey Street between Santa Cruz and 110 Freeway entrance. It also authorizes the Bureau of Street Services to make technical clarifications to start the process.

Art, craft and commercial vendors are invited to apply to sell their goods, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sept. 18, at the 18th annual Fall Bazaar at the Torrance Cultural Arts Center.
