Target Arts & Wonder Free Family Festival
The Grand Vision Foundation with Angels Gate Cultural Arts Center, Duval Productions and the Los Angeles Department of Cultural Affairs are hosting the Target Arts and Wonder Free Family Festival, from 2 to 6 p.m. July 17 and 18 at Peck Park in San Pedro.

The International Fern Society presents a two-day showcase of a variety of ferns grown by society members starting at 9 a.m. Admission is $8 adults, $6 students and seniors and $3 children 5 to12 years old. Children four and under and foundation members get in free.

International Quilt Festival
Long Beach’s Quiltmaking Academy presents a 3-day festival featuring more than 500 quilts, 90 classes and lectures and 350 booths selling quilting materials, books and gifts. The festival opens at 10 a.m. Admission is $10, $8 seniors and students and $25 for a full show pass. Children 10 and younger are admitted free with a paying adult. A $10 preview night starts at 5 p.m. July 22 and is $10. Tours will be offered July 21 and 26.

2010 Steve Hartt Memorial San Pedro to San Diego Ride
On July 24, participate in this year’s port to port, San Pedro to San Diego bicycle ride, about 112 miles. The event includes lunch, dinner, energy drinks and supplements, as well as transportation back to San Pedro. The event is limited to 60 riders.
