The University of California American Federation of Teachers, about 3,000 lecturers and librarians on UC campuses, recently endorsed candidate Marcy Winograd for the 36th Congressional District.
Winograd, a UC graduate, has been an outspoken advocate for transparency in budget dealing of UC regents amidst fee hikes and layoffs in the system.
