The Long Beach City Council, voted 7-0, Councilmen Jeff DeLong and Patrick O’Donnell absent, at its Feb. 9 meeting, to adopt plans and specification for the construction of roof waterproofing at the Long Beach Main Library.
The cost of the construction work is about $1.5 million, including a contingency of $133,387, if necessary.
