The Los Angeles Board of Harbor Commissioners will meet, during a special at 8:30 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 10, to consider awarding a $5 million contract, recommended by the Homeland Security Division, to Science Applications International Corp. for the maintenance and repair of the Closed Circuit Television, access control and networking systems for the Harbor Department.
The contract also would include provisions for system upgrades that would enhance performance and capabilities.
An agreement with Adesta will expires Feb. 26, 2010, but warranty agreements preclude the company from working on SAIC equipment.
