The California Federation of Teachers announced this past week it endorsement of Los Angeles Councilwoman Janice Hahn, who is running for state Lt. Governor. The endorsement was largely a result of the councilwoman’s stance against tuition hike in the University of California school system. Earlier that same week, the councilwoman also won the support of the Southern California Pipe Trades District Council 16 for the support of its 14 local unions and her opposition to the hike.
