The Central San Pedro Neighborhood Council will discuss the Port of Los Angeles Waterfront Redevelopment plan at 6:30 p.m. in a special meeting at the Croatian Cultural Center, 510 W. 7th St.

The neighborhood council will consider the port’s Final Environmental Impact Report for its Waterfront Development Project, an about $1.2 project that may encompass 64 percent of the downtown area, and its proposed certification by the Board of Harbor Commissioners, which meets Sep. 29.

Stakeholders are slated to present “a sustainable waterfront plan” focused on open space and pedestrian access.

The council will determine the community’s decision on the plan to submit their findings to the board.
