Follow Random Lengths as we navigate through San Pedro's First Thursday Artwalk, street scene and other happenings, featuring local cover bands such as the Dew Drops singing Motown classics, the local Drum Circle and Belly Dancer group putting on a show, rockabilly music at Godmothers Saloon, to Annemarie Rawlinson of the Lofts Studios talking about her latest work, to the soft opening of Pins and Needles, a tattoo art inspired clothing retail store. Hardly a dull moment in Pedro.
Also, check out rock and blues maven Marilyn Young when she drops by Gallery 478 and gives RLn an update on what’s happening with her new band in New Mexico, Marilyn and Her Men.
And, Latin Soul band DW3 at the 7th Street Chophouse, who really got the First Thursday party started with classic r&b grooves, not to mention some of the greatest hits of the late King of Pop. They even invited singer/songwriter, Dream, of Dallas Texas to jam with them, to the delight of the crowd at the Chophouse.
