Our good friend Bernie Pearl is playing the Navasota Blues Festival in Navasota, Texas on August 9 at high noon. A final Random note the new music/art project by OGOGO/Linden. This is the collaboration of Artist, Conductor, Performer, and Composer, Igor Grigoriev/ The OGOGO Orchestra, and Contemporary Abstract Artist Ron Linden. This is a 14-track album of experimental music impressions of Mr. Linden’s artwork. The idea of Mussorgsky's “Pictures at the Exhibition” was implied by the reviewer on Amazon.com. Listening to the track “Pidgen” from the album is a bit of Stockhausen meets Zappa and Jerry Garcia, while tripping through to the next dimension.
