Three Suspects Arrested for Motor Home Murder

LONG BEACH — Three suspects were arrested in connection to a Jan. 28 motor home fire and the death of 61-year-old Thomas Taylor, Long Beach Police Department officials stated.

Detectives arrested Diana Sequen, 20, and Alfredo Zolorza, 19, Feb. 4, and David Romero, 28, Feb. 5. All three suspects are Long Beach residents.

The incident took place at about 12:15 a.m. Jan. 28. Officers on a routine patrol smelled smoke and discovered a motor home on fire on the 500 block of west 17th Street in Long Beach. Long Beach Fire Department extinguished and discovered Taylor’s body.

The motive of the murder appears to be an ongoing dispute, officials stated. It appears the suspects used arson in an attempt to destroy crime evidence.

The three suspects are held at the Los Angeles Jail on $1 million bail.
